Dr Danny Lum is a senior strength and conditioning coach at Singapore Sport Institute. He has been working with our national athletes for more than a decade. During this period, he worked with athletes who competed in athletics, badminton, bowling, cycling, diving, gymnastics, judo, kayaking, marathon, swimming, table tennis, wakeboarding and wrestling. He completed his Phd in sports science at Nanyang Technological University in 2021, and is an accredited strength and conditioning coach by both National Strength and Conditioning Association and Australian Strength and Conditioning Association. Apart from being a practitioner, he is also appointed honorary adjunct lecturer by La Trobe University in Melbourne, Australia. His research studies on isometric training and post-activation performance enhancement are well received by the international committee in the field of strength and conditioning. Many of which have been published in peer reviewed sports science journals and presented in international sports science conferences.
